HuxVORecord is a voice over booth recording program for standalone voice booth operation.

Designed for journalists and users who don't want a steep learning curve.

Operation is simple and the application can be driven from the keyboard or with the keyboard and mouse.

Records items to a clip list which is then exported to a drive (or network share) to be used or picked up by editors. The clip names can be prefixed with date and time recorded as well as contain item numbers and title. The title entered for the exported clips identifies the journalist or could be a voice over description. Clips can have individual head and tail trim parameters.

Exports WAV files with an optional broadcast wav extension and custom metadata. Loudness information can optionally be calculated and stored in the BWF broadcast wav extension.

Since 2011 to this day, still in use by SevenWest in their Perth news operation.
HuxVORecord is not free. It will record 30 seconds of audio before stopping without a license. You can try it out for as long as you like. Two licensing options are available.
Runs on macOS Big Sur and Windows 10.
